Working with David’s Bridal as their preferred photographer for the Hampton Virginia store has been a fantastic partnership. The team at the Hampton store led by Carolyn along with  Tina and Erin  have proved to be immensely helpful in introducing me to brides in need of answers to their questions about wedding photography. I have personally met more brides working with the team at David’s Bridal than I have at any other form of publicity that I have been involved with.

I spent a few years doing contract weddings for their east coast photography division where I would shoot weddings similar to this one.  I was asked to be the preferred photographer for the Hampton store after David’s Bridal closed their photography division. So far it has been a mutually beneficial partnership.

Two become one

I spend the Saturdays that I am not shooting a wedding at the Hampton store location meeting brides and answering their questions about wedding photography as well as photographing them in their favorite dress. We offer a complementary portrait in their favorite dress as well as an opportunity to use the KTP Photo Booth.

First dance

I have never been a salesman so I don’t like the idea of selling my services to brides, instead I try to build familiarity, trust and common ground through conversations about upcoming weddings. I try to understand the vision a bride has for her wedding. If I can understand the vision she has then I can show her how I can help make that into a reality.
